{"id":51822,"date":"2021-08-09T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-08-09T14:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/atomic-temporary-84115225.wpcomstaging.com\/?p=51822"},"modified":"2021-08-09T09:00:00","modified_gmt":"2021-08-09T14:00:00","slug":"dieta-paleo-lo-que-debes-saber","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/zeromagazine.mx\/index.php\/2021\/08\/09\/dieta-paleo-lo-que-debes-saber\/","title":{"rendered":"Dieta PALEO: lo que debes saber"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Ante el boom de un sinf\u00edn de dietas y estilos de alimentaci\u00f3n, vale la pena conocer a que se refiere cada una en caso de que queramos adoptarla o simplemente por cultura general.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-outline is-style-outline--1\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link\">Por Gisela P\u00e9rez Rodr\u00edguez<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Una de las dietas que se ha hecho famosa en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os es la \u201c<strong>PALEO<\/strong>\u201d pero \u00bfQu\u00e9 significa?, \u00bfC\u00f3mo se lleva a cabo?, \u00bfQu\u00e9 alimentos incluye o con qu\u00e9 fin? esto y m\u00e1s lo descubriremos a continuaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El nombre \u201c<strong>PALEO<\/strong>\u201d hace referencia a \u201c<strong>Paleol\u00edtico<\/strong>\u201d ya que este estilo de alimentaci\u00f3n busca emular la forma en la que se alimentaban nuestros ancestros hace m\u00e1s de 2 millones de a\u00f1os, justo en esta \u00e9poca, el paleol\u00edtico. Si recordamos nuestras clases de historia, sabremos que durante esa \u00e9poca los humanos depend\u00edan de la caza, la pesca y la recolecci\u00f3n, por lo que adem\u00e1s de consumir solamente los alimentos disponibles derivados de estas actividades, tambi\u00e9n eran n\u00f3madas; lo cual conllevaba el caminar por horas y d\u00edas, es decir, ten\u00edan gran actividad f\u00edsica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entonces, la premisa de este tipo de dieta es que para mantener buena salud debemos consumir carnes magras y alimentos vegetales en combinaci\u00f3n con un alto nivel de actividad f\u00edsica. Se cree que los humanos en esa \u00e9poca experimentaban menos enfermedades cardiacas, diabetes y c\u00e1ncer derivado del estilo de vida que llevaban hasta antes de descubrir la agricultura y volverse sedentarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image coblocks-animate\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/zeromagazinemx.wpcomstaging.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/468a0-paleo-1.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/zeromagazinemx.wpcomstaging.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/468a0-paleo-1.jpg?w=1165&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-51826\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>El objetivo de esta dieta no hace \u00e9nfasis en el conteo de calor\u00edas y el tama\u00f1o de las porciones, sino en regresar a un modo de alimentaci\u00f3n similar al de los primeros humanos. La raz\u00f3n para esto es que el cuerpo humano es \u201c<strong><em>gen\u00e9ticamente incompatible<\/em><\/strong>\u201d con la dieta actual y por eso existe una alta prevalencia de sobrepeso, obesidad y enfermedades no transmisibles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dentro de las generalidades de esta dieta encontramos que es alta en prote\u00ednas, moderada en grasas (en su mayor\u00eda insaturadas), baja\/moderada en hidratos de carbono, altas en fibra y bajas en sodio y az\u00facares refinados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Alimentos permitidos:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Carnes magras frescas<\/li><li>Pescados y mariscos<\/li><li>Huevos<\/li><li>Nueces y semillas<\/li><li>Frutas<\/li><li>Verduras<\/li><li>Aceite de oliva y de coco<\/li><li>Miel<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Alimentos no permitidos:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Cereales, granos y az\u00facares refinados, granos integrales<\/li><li>L\u00e1cteos<\/li><li>Lentejas<\/li><li>Frijoles<\/li><li>Alcohol<\/li><li>Caf\u00e9<\/li><li>Sal<\/li><li>Aceites refinados<\/li><li>Alimentos procesados<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image coblocks-animate\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/zeromagazinemx.wpcomstaging.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/f17b6-paleo-2.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/zeromagazinemx.wpcomstaging.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/f17b6-paleo-2.jpg?w=1165&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-51828\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Por supuesto alimentarse de esta forma tiene ciertas ventajas a la salud ya que se incluyen alimentos frescos y de alta densidad nutricional, por ejemplo, tener mayor sensibilidad a la insulina, adem\u00e1s, alienta a alejarse de alimentos industrializados y promueve estar f\u00edsicamente activo todos los d\u00edas. Pero como todo, tambi\u00e9n tiene ciertas desventajas, por ejemplo, la dificultad de generar adherencia a largo plazo. Adem\u00e1s, omite granos integrales, legumbres y l\u00e1cteos, lo cual puede provocar un consumo por debajo del \u00f3ptimo de algunos nutrientes.
