Este d\u00eda, conmemorado cada a\u00f1o, nos invita a reflexionar sobre c\u00f3mo podemos prevenir, controlar y entender esta condici\u00f3n que afecta a millones de personas en todo el mundo. Pero, \u00bfc\u00f3mo se lleva todo esto si lo tuyo es disfrutar de la vida, de los peque\u00f1os placeres que nos dan energ\u00eda y nos alegran el d\u00eda? Spoiler: \u00a1La clave est\u00e1 en redefinir lo que entendemos por lo \u201cdulce\u201d!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>La Realidad de la Diabetes Hoy en D\u00eda<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Antes de sumergirnos en c\u00f3mo podemos celebrar nuestra salud de una forma m\u00e1s consciente, es importante entender la magnitud del problema. Seg\u00fan un estudio publicado en junio de 2023 por la&nbsp;<em>Revista Mexicana de Salud P\u00fablica<\/em>, m\u00e1s del 18% de la poblaci\u00f3n mexicana adulta vive con diabetes. \u00a1Eso son m\u00e1s de 14 millones de personas! En muchos casos, esto se debe a los malos h\u00e1bitos alimenticios y, claro, al consumo excesivo de az\u00facar (alrededor de 19 cucharaditas diarias). \u00bfTe suena mucho, verdad? Y m\u00e1s cuando la&nbsp;<em>Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud<\/em>&nbsp;recomienda no consumir m\u00e1s de 10 cucharaditas al d\u00eda en una dieta de 2,000 calor\u00edas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La diabetes, como muchas otras enfermedades, viene acompa\u00f1ada de muchas ideas preconcebidas. Una de las m\u00e1s comunes es la creencia de que \u201cno se puede\u201d disfrutar de ciertas cosas. Se suele pensar que cuidar nuestra salud es igual a renunciar a esos peque\u00f1os placeres que hacen la vida m\u00e1s sabrosa. Pero, d\u00e9jame decirte algo: cuidar de ti mismo no significa dejar de disfrutar de lo que te gusta.
